ESE International is one of the leading independently-owned distributors in the eyewear industry. In 1938, Ben Shyer started the company as the only employee in his small apartment in Brooklyn, NY. The apartment doubled as an office and warehouse with his inventory hidden beneath the bed. Now in our third generation as a family-owned and run company, we honor Ben’s values of customer loyalty, impeccable service, and a constant focus on creativity, quality, and the nuance that makes something go from great to spectacular.
