Located in Brussels, at the heart of Europe, on a 5000 m2 site, our company has developed and produced high quality aluminium trolleys for more than 60 years; its broad product range adapts to multiple uses in hotels, hospitals, retirement homes and communities as well as cruise ships, restaurants and airports.
Mercura® Industries S.A. is currently established in more than 45 countries throughout the world.
In May 2008, Mercura® Industries S.A. was sold to two Belgian entrepreneurs who have lots of experience in the medical sector as well as in various industrial sectors.
History :
At the end of the Second World War, a young Belgian entrepreneur dares to use aluminium to build various logistics equipment.
In the 60s, Mercura® Industries S.A. concentrates on producing aluminium trolleys for the domestic market and added the distribution of ladders to its activities.
Since the 70s, the company has moved towards the upscale hotel market and has grown internationally.
In the 80s, the company starts diversifying its activities into the hospital sector and retirement homes.
