John Cadwell, BSEE, MD saw a need for innovative and reliable neurophysiology instruments during his residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington, USA. John used his experience in electrical engineering and medicine to design the world’s first microprocessor-controlled EMG instrument.
John partnered with his brother, Carl Cadwell, DDS, and together they formed Cadwell in 1979. Throughout the years, Cadwell has grown its neurodiagnostic offerings into EEG, IONM and PSG.
Today, we employ more than 110 people at headquarters, who contribute to research, hardware design, software design, assembly, marketing, distribution, sales support, and customer support. We also have a network of sales and support representatives in the USA, and a growing international team based in China, Singapore, the Netherlands and Germany.
