Founded nearly 30 years ago in Trentino by Fausto Manzana, who is still part of and active in the company as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, GPI has grown steadily over time, both in terms of size and expertise, without ever losing sight of the deeper meaning of its corporate activity, providing solutions and services that affect the quality of people’s lives.
Founded in 1988, GPI Srl (limited liability company) became an SpA (joint stock company) in 2006. Between 2010 and 2013, GPI Group outlined its development guidelines by expanding the scope of intervention in the healthcare market through targeted acquisitions: Business Process Outsourcing and Robotics/Pharmaceutical Automation are complemented by IT Systems.
In December 2013, the Orizzonte SGR Fund and the issue of GPI Minibonds (negotiations on the ExtraMot PRO Market) marked a significant acceleration in the Company’s business development, which in the 2014-2016 three-year period increased its expertise, doubled revenues and started an internationalisation process. Since December 2016 GPI had been listed on the AIM Italia stock market.
